WEAVE: Wealth-Evolving Aligned Value Exchange

For those building meaningful work under real economic limits

WEAVE is an offering for practitioners doing slow, relational, and justice-oriented work — therapists, healers, coaches, and care workers who want to build sustainable, ethical practices and are starting with real financial constraints. Access is made possible through THRIVE, our Tiered, Harmonized, Reciprocal, Income-Aligned, Value-Based, Ethical payment model. THRIVE allows your contributions to grow alongside your income and capacity, creating a structure that is fair, flexible, and grounded in long-term sustainability—for you, and for the clients and communities you serve.

Why WEAVE exists

I have seen too many thoughtful, skilled care practitioners go into deep debt paying thousands of dollars for business coaching that isn’t accountable to meaningful outcomes.

In many programs, people learn frameworks, theories, and language. They complete exercises. They might build a website, start posting on social media, or write articles. They “do the work.” But there is little tracking of whether that support actually helps them build a sustainable practice — whether clients are finding them, hiring them, and continuing to work with them.

Too often, the coaching industry profits from participation, not impact. I am committed to impact, not endless preparation.

My clients who receive somatic, relationally grounded guidance have gone on to be hired, trusted, and sought after by individuals and organizations who value the depth of their work.

I created the THRIVE payment model as a corrective to the extractive patterns I’ve witnessed. By tying my income to your growth and sustainability, I take on real accountability for the effectiveness of my work. If what I offer doesn’t help you move toward paid, ethical, livable work, I don’t benefit from keeping you stuck in endless preparation or abstract learning.

The Financial Commitment

This container includes:

  • 48 virtual somatic coaching sessions per year, combining Somatic Experiencing with intersectional business support

  • Ongoing email support between sessions

  • Guidance that integrates somatic care, ethical business strategy, and practical growth planning

Total annual cost: 5,760

This reflects a packaged session rate of €120 per session over the course of 48 sessions.

I recognize that €5,760 is still a significant commitment, especially when you're building from a place of financial constraint. That's why the payment structure is designed to grow with you — starting at a minimum of €25/week and increasing as your income stabilizes.

For context, my standard session rate is €180, and many coaches offering similar depth of support charge significantly more. This reduced-rate flexible payment model exists to make long-term, relationally grounded coaching accessible to practitioners building without financial safety nets.

Flexible, Growth-Aligned Payment

The THRIVE payment plan is designed to grow with your income.

  • During the application process, we assess what you can realistically contribute on a weekly or monthly basis (starting at a minimum of €25/week)

  • From there, we establish a payment schedule that works for your cash flow (weekly/monthy)

  • We will regularly review your income, and increase your payment as your income grows

This is not a sliding scale — it’s a structure to make the full value of the container accessible while aligning payment with growth and sustainability.

A note on economic justice

This offering is rooted in economic justice. It's intended for people who would experience true financial hardship paying full coaching rates — not simply for those whose business isn't yet generating income.

Money under capitalism is complicated. No matter how much someone has, it's natural to feel like it's not enough. I get that. And I want to be transparent about who this particular pathway is designed to serve.

Here's what I'm trying to honour: I have limited capacity for THRIVE rate work, and I want to direct it toward people who are genuinely struggling to meet basic needs — not toward subsidizing the lifestyle choices of people who have underlying financial stability.

These guidelines are adapted from Alexis J. Cunningfolk's Sliding Scale: A Tool of Economic Justice (The Green Bottle Method):

This reduced-rate option likely is not the right fit if:

  • You or your household own your home, or could qualify to purchase one

  • You and/or your family have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited wealth

  • You might carry debt, but it doesn't threaten your ability to stay housed and fed

  • You are covered by private insurance which includes extended health care (dental, therapy, massage, etc.)

  • You can travel for vacation or professional development

  • You may be working part-time or be unemployed by choice, including full-time students in degree programs

  • You have significant earning power due to education, credentials, race, class background, or other privilege — even if you're not currently doing paid work in your field (I ask you to recognize this as a choice you're able to make)

  • You're currently paying to work with other coaches, therapists or mentors

If any of these apply to you, I'd still love to explore working together — just not through this particular offering. Please inquire about my standard-rate options.

A Few Financial Agreements for Clarity

I want us both to feel clear and at ease about the financial side of our work together. Here's how the WEAVE container is structured:

  • The annual commitment is based on 48 sessions over the course of our time together.

  • One of our first tasks is to establish a “This is working” income goal.  We will review our progress regularly –  we will continue, and if so, if you’ll graduate into my standard rates or stay in the WEAVE program.

  • If for any reason you decide to complete our work early, the sessions you've already received are still honoured at the session rate we agreed on.

Who This Model Tends to Support Well

This option may be a good fit if you:

  • Can reliably meet a minimum weekly payment of at least €25, either through your business or other income sources

  • Have at least 10 hours a week to devote to your business

  • Offer services where you can imagine charging at least €60 per hour—and growing beyond that over time

  • Are open to gradually increasing your payment as your income grows (we'll check in regularly and adjust together)

  • Welcome both somatic and strategic support

Ethical Alignment Matters

I work with people whose practices are rooted in relational ethics. This model is designed for practitioners who:

  • Do slow, relational, ongoing work with clients — valuing depth and consent over quick fixes or flashy results

  • Maintain practical accountability through peer supervision, professional association membership, ongoing continuing education or another reflective support system

  • Prioritize ethical integrity and are willing to notice when their own practice or business choices might need adjustment

  • Are committed to supporting clients safely, sustainably, and respectfully

About the Application

The application itself is part of the practice. To begin, fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page or send me an email at support@radicalrootssomatics.com and I'll send you the application.

The questions in the form are designed to help you think carefully and practically about your work, your capacity, and your path toward sustainability. They're meant to feel big, deep, and essential — to support your clarity and commitment, whether or not we end up working together.

Please know, if I'm not able to offer you a spot, it reflects my current capacity — not the value or potential of your work. I'll keep your application on file, and I encourage you to keep reaching out to others for support in the meantime.

What Happens Next

If there's alignment and I have capacity, I'll send you a proposal that outlines:

  • Where we would begin

  • The nature of my support

  • A THRIVE payment plan proposal

You're always free to say no. Nothing moves forward without mutual consent.

I invite you to think of this as a partnership: Are you willing to invite me to walk alongside you in your business?

Your Questions, Answered

  • The THRIVE: Tiered, Harmonized, Reciprocal, Income-Aligned, Value-Based, Ethical Payment Model is a way to access the full year-long WEAVE coaching container when paying standard rates would be a genuine financial hardship. Payment starts lower and increases over time as your income grows, so the full value of the work remains intact while the timing of payment is flexible.

  • The minimum contribution is €25/week. Applicants need to be able to meet this consistently, even at the beginning of our work together.

  • We’ll establish a starting payment based on your current reality. As your income grows, we’ll review and adjust your payment together. Increases are collaborative, transparent, and paced to support sustainability—not pressure.

  • At every session, we will check in to assess how your business is growing and whether your payment should adjust. These reviews are part of the container—not something you have to initiate or negotiate alone.

  • That’s expected. I work with practitioners whose work is built on trust and trust takes time. If your income stays flat for a period, we continue working at the agreed rate while focusing on what’s realistically needed to move you toward paid, ethical, livable work.

  • As your income stabilizes and grows, you may graduate into my standard rates or remain in this tiered structure with adjusted payments. We’ll make that decision together based on what’s actually working.

  • WEAVE is a limited-capacity container. Because it takes time and care to onboard a new practitioner, I require one month’s notice if you decide to end our work early.

Here’s how this works, step by step:

    • Each session is valued at €120

    • You are financially responsible for:

      • All sessions you have already received

      • Plus four additional sessions following your cancellation notice

    • During the notice month, you may choose to:

      • Attend those four sessions, or

      • Forfeit them
Either way, they are included in the total owed.

Any payments you’ve already made are applied to your balance.

If there is a remaining balance after your final session, you may continue paying it off at your existing THRIVE tiered payment rate. There is no requirement to pay it all at once, no interest, and no penalties for ending early.

You are never charged for sessions beyond the notice period.

  • This container works best for people offering services they can realistically imagine working with their clients for a number of months, and charging at least $80/hour over time, with room to grow beyond that. When I envisioned this work, I imagined most would be coaches, therapists or healers of some type.

  • This program and the THRIVE payment model are not for people in financial crisis. I have deep empathy for anyone navigating urgent financial needs, but I cannot guarantee a quick windfall or immediate solution — and will not waste your time with false hope. The reality is that financial crises often come with ever-changing, unjust demands that make building a sustainable business extremely difficult.

If immediate income is critical, I recommend short-term stabilization: temporary employment, social supports, family assistance, or crowdfunding.

Your dream will wait and will appreciate not having the burden of being responsible for your debts.

  • You’ll need at least 10 hours per week that you’re already able to devote to your business. The intention isn’t to add more work, but to help the time you’re already spending become more focused, effective, and supportive.

  • Yes! I'd be honoured if the THRIVE payment model supports your work with clients — especially if you're working with people whose income is directly tied to the work you're doing together.

    I ask two things:

    1. Use it thoughtfully. This model works best when there's a genuine expectation that your clients' earning capacity will grow as a direct result of your work together. It's not appropriate for all types of services.

    2. Please attribute it. If you adopt this approach, please credit it as inspired by or adapted from the THRIVE: Tiered, Harmonized, Reciprocal, Income-Aligned, Value-Based, Ethical Payment Model by Tanya Nash, Radical Roots Somatics. You're welcome to adapt it to fit your practice — please just acknowledge where it came from.

If you'd like to talk through how to implement it ethically in your own work, I'm happy to explore in a consultation session.
